Paul is an insurance broker with a very ordinary life, in a lukewarm marriage, until he discovers an extraordinary skill for detecting evil. He is contacted by a powerful, but secretive organisation and his life becomes a tangle of mystery and deceit. As he develops his new ability, he finds that even his own beautiful wife is keeping suspicious secrets from him.

Paul is desperate to recover his failing marriage, but in his efforts to investigate the mysteries surrounding his wife, he builds his own web of duplicity. Can he find a way through all the deception and is his wife on the side of good or evil?

As the mysteries deepen, danger and violence become part of his world and he finds himself faced with the murderous intent of an international crime lord. With all the resources at their disposal, Paul and his friends embark on a quest for justice.
